Must Get Up

About Must Get Up

One alarm. No backup plan.

The Origin Story

Must Get Up starts with a simple truth: if you can snooze, you will. One wake-up time can quickly become a chain of delays and backup alarms.

Most alarm apps make that chain easy to create. Must Get Up takes a narrower approach. You can keep one active alarm, and there is no snooze action when it rings.

Dismissing the alarm starts the lockout you chose, which stops you from setting a quick replacement. Optional wake checks add one more deliberate action when Must Get Up opens.

That is Must Get Up: one alarm, no snooze, and no quick way to make a new deal with yourself.

Our Philosophy

1

One Alarm

You don't need 10 alarms. You need one alarm that you actually respect. When your alarm means something, you take it seriously.

One Decision

No snooze action and no scheduled backup. Dismiss the one alert, then let the lockout protect last night's choice.

Hold the Line

The lockout removes the quick reset. Optional wake checks add a little more intent when you need it.

Our Mission

Must Get Up exists for people who want a simpler agreement with tomorrow morning. We built an alarm that does less on purpose, keeps personal data on the device, and stays honest about what software can and cannot guarantee.

Take away the backup plan

If you can snooze, you will. Set it. Get up.
